As with any private club, each club has their own unique rules about reciprocity. It is Private Club Link’s position that every guest should be hosted by a member. In many cases, PCL will have additional offerings to our membership based on relationships our club builds with other private clubs. If a Private Club Links member meets another private club links member through PCL and chooses to host this member at his club, both members must abide by the rules and regulations of the host club. PCL will work in harmony and partnership with other private clubs and meet strive to meet the needs and desire of our members who seek to visit other clubs for outside activities such as dining, lodging, golf, fishing, tennis, etc…

Q. What is PCL’s position on the effects of the 501 (c) (7) tax provisions for private clubs?

A. PCL does not affect a club's independence and private status because a club is in control of its guest policies at each step, and every Private Club Links member must belong to a legitimate private club. Private Club Private Club Links structure is fully compatible with the stringent section 501(c)(7) provision for tax-exempt clubs. We are currently seeking a legal opinion on our transactional engines effect on the 501(c) (7) provision.
